Polish Priest Publishes Sex Tips
An unlikely hit in Poland's bookshops this spring is Sex as you don't know it: For married couples who love God. The lusty lit was published by none other than Father Ksawery Knotz, a Franciscan Friar from near Krakow.
"Some people, when they hear about the holiness of married sex, immediately imagine that such sex has to be deprived of joy, frivolous play, fantasy and attractive positions," laments the lively monk.
He then proceeds to catalogue the manifold joys of amorous union, stressing that uninhibited marital sex is a way of getting closer to God.
Reverend Knotz explains that his wide-ranging knowledge is the fruit of many hours spent counselling married couples, and the book has been approved by Church authorities regarding consistency with Catholic teaching.
On the latter point, some of the more contentious tenets remain in keeping with Pope Benedict's line: contraception is discouraged in the book.
Thus far, the titillating tome has been a romping success, and the publishers are currently considering foreign language versions.
