Jazz nad Odrą 2015
One of Wroclaws most anticipated annual music festivals is Jazz nad Odra (Jazz by the Odra River), an event which draws to the city both international talents and flocks of jazz fans from all over Poland. This year's edition marks the change in the position of Artistic Director. From now on, the person responsible for the festival will be Polish jazz personality, Leszek Możdżer, who has been dedicated to the festival for many years. The concerts will be taking place at the Impart (Mazowiecka 17). As usual, the festival will feature a concert at Stary Klasztor, and a jam session featuring both the rising stars and the troupers, even the new AD himself.
This year's line-up features a number of American and European jazz celebrities, such as Dave Liebman, Lars Danielsson, Lee Konitz Trio, r=The Bad Plus, David Sanborn and many, many more. For details check the Festival page.
