Follow Me cafe bar is taking you on a journey through Croatian coast and islands, presenting you two talented DJs from Croatian biggest island Krk. And this is its second edition!

Before going into world of DJing, he has been engaged in music since an early age of 7. He started by playing drumms in Municipal brass band and by the time he was 16 he went to become a drummer for several local bands. After years of listening and playing all kinds of rock genres, his music preferences changed and as the electronic scene took off , electro-music becomes almost the only kind he listens to. He then decides to devote himself to DJing.

In his sets, he will capture your attention with sub- genres of house music and then make an occasional trip to tech house and minimal.

If you ask him, which kind of music had the biggest impact on him, you will get an interesting answer: the influence goes from Abba to Apex Twin.

Along with DJing, Morikone is still pursuing his first passion, he is a drummer in a very creative and very active electro/rap band Buco i Kalašnjikovi. They are currently recording new material.

▶ ANA ANTONOVA ◀

Ana comes from a long line of musicians. Since an early age, she was introduced to music world by playing a classical guitar in music school. Despite her classical education, she shows an interest for electronic music somewhere around mid 90's.

Considering diverse music scene of that time and the MTV influence, the range of bands that caught her ear go from Rage Against the Machine, Prodigy, Propelerheads, Underworld up to first „hard to get“ CD boxes released by Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi and Plastic CIty.

After listening to one of the most famous „evergreens“ of electronic music, Laurent Garnier's Man with the red Face for the first time, she was completely blown away. She then decides to try out DJing herself and is performing since 2003. Till this day this is her favorite track.

The variety of musical influences that shaped her taste can be seen to this day – when Antonova decides to play out a set, you can expect to hear a mashup of genres from selected deep house, UK garage, tech house to bangers that will take you sky - high.
