Quite moving indeed... Although the original plan was to pay tribute to soldiers who died in Afghanistan, the memorial unveiled in 1996 is dedicated to all Sons of their Home Country who died overseas...

Quite surprised at how good this gallery actually was. Definitely go there if you have any interest at all in the contemporary art scene in Belarus.

It was OK but needs some money spent on it to display the items better
just arrived back from Minsk went to see Carmen,It was wonderful the refurbished opera house is a relavation I will return in July

Interesting and a retro experience in itself... but not very informative if you can't read Russian or Belarusian.
