Reviews of Restaurants in Zagreb
Just had a delicious dinner. Salad, pasta and seafood diner for two. Bottle of local wine, dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks. The pasta had shaved truffles and was rich and delicious. Our waiter, Verdan, took great care of us and advised us on what and how to order! The prices are less than NYC prices and I thought it was great value It's the place to go!
Service is slow and unpleasant, and the portions are very small and expensive.
Pricey but delicious food.
Service is good, food is delicious but prices are not as same as written on the menu which is published on internet
Finally found a restaurant with real tasty food making usgae of several fresh spices and nice combinations of vegetables and meat/fish. The price is higher than everage in Croatia but worth it. I will return.
There was a dead mouse family hidden in my pillow. They are trying to kill all of us, get out while you can!!!
Chefs are superb. Steep pricing, and management rude, obnoxious. 50/50 experience. Wouldn't consider going back
Agree with Jim - the prices are very steep for what you actually get. But the place looks smart.
very good for cheap price
Pretty cool. Sorta like a Munich beer garden without all the crazies.
I havent tasted mexican food in a very long TIME!. When I came here I ordered the tacos immediatley and boy was it DELICIOUS!. I go here all the time now and just order that "taco de pollo". It's my favorite
Nice setting, good selection of wines, average food at exorbitant prices. Value (food) for money is almost zero!
(At best) way overpriced average food. To be avoided!
I agree the food is decent, but nothing special. but then again, if you've lived in zagreb and haven't tasted anything even remotely mexican for ages, you'll appreciate the effort!!
loved the ambiance and service, and the food was OK. not sure about the wine as i didn't get a chance to try any.
I ate lamb when I was there - found the decor and ambience nice, the service was so-so, unfortunately the food was good but nothing special. The wine was not good at all.
skola definitely warrants discovery. One of the places making Zagreb a hip destination right now
We own a condo in Mexico and spend a lot of time there, so I have a different standard than some I am sure. My wife and I ate there last year and we're going back to Zagreb in a few weeks. Of all the places to eat in Zagreb, I would not put this place high on the list. The food is "OK" but for anyone used to real Mexican food, it's pretty much mediocre Tex-Mex, nothing to write home about.
Super trendy and definitely the place to come if you're out looking for hot Croatians.
