Opera: Die Fledermaus

Johann Strauss' famous comic operetta will be performed by the Wroclaw Opera Company over New Year and into January for those with a penchant for the performing arts. Dr. Falke bids to get his vengeance on the hapless Eisenstein who had embarrassed the former by leaving him in a drunken stupor in town, costumed as a bat - much to the amusement of the local citizens. A comic farce surrounds Falke's act of vengeance and punters are bound to be dazzled by the costumes, music and magic that the Opera Wroclawska is famous for. Die Fledermaus will be performed sixteen times between the 30th December and 17th January, with tickets starting at just 40PLN.
