Wroclaw's National Museum is the proud owner of over ten thousand photos, which chart the ages from the very beginnings of this medium to contemporary times. Adam Sobota has selected four hundred of the most interesting shots and put them in chronological order to create an exhibition that both traces the history of photography as an art form and also gives viewers a tremendous insight into the changing times and fashions of the last century and a half. Within the exhibition are displayed portraits, landscapes, avant-garde, neo-avant-garde and amateur photography, and amongst the artists represented are Robert Göppert, Witold Romer, Jan Bułhak, Edward Hartwig, Zdzisław Beksiński, Zofia Rydet and Natalia LL.
