The bi-weekly magazine Chronicles (“Kroniki”), created by painter, printmaker, and graphic designer Feliks Topolski (1907-1989) is the focus of this new exhibition at the National Museum. A graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and member of the Free Painters Lodge, Topolski moved his activities to Britain in 1935. The magazine in question, Chronicles (1953-1979), chronicled the top political, social, and cultural events from across the world in the form of drawings.
