After 100 Years

Thu 19th
May

In honour of the 100-year anniversary of the Polish Artists Union from 1911 to 2011, several exhibitions are taking place simultaneously at gallery spaces across Poland. Wroclaw’s BWA galleries will host two such exhibitions, focused on the artists of Wroclaw, at its Awangarda (Avant-Garde) and Glass and Ceramics galleries. This is a great chance to explore the history and evolution of Wroclaw’s most talented painters, graphic artists, sculptors, and multimedia artists as well as see the influence of the artistic elite on the young artists of today. Recommended! (Open daily with the following exceptions: Awangarda Gallery closed on Mondays. Free entry on Wednesdays. Glass & Ceramics Gallery closed on Sundays.)
