Commemorating the 200th anniversary of the first public Museum in Wroclaw is this extensive overview of over 500 ecclesiastical art objects from the 12th to the 20th century. The objects, from chalices to candleholders, were transferred from local (Silesian) monastaries to the Royal Museum of Art and Antiquities by the Prussian King and many have survived to display a wonderful artistic history of the area’s religions including Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism, and Orthodox Christianity.
