There are two significant permanent exhibitions on display at the Royal Palace location of the City Museum of Wroclaw worthy of attention: "Art of Wroclaw 1850-1945" and "Art of Wroclaw after 1945". Many kinds of artistic forms are represented in these exhibitions - from painting to sculpture. But perhaps most interesting of all is the way the political history of Wroclaw is interwoven with its artistic history as Silesian art over the many years has represented both German and Polish artists.
