As the most comprehensive review of Jerzy Tchorzewski's work, the National Museum's exhibition is displaying 43 paintings by the Polish artist. The exhibition marks the tenth anniversary of Tchorzewski's death and follows his career from his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1949 up until his most eye-opening works in the 1980s which are filled with suffering, crucifixions, and his typical imaginary landscapes.
