Dzem may be virtually unknown outside the borders of Poland, but here, their contribution to rock is legendary. The band started out in the 70s, and have continued to release their trademark blues rock. Their line-up has changed over the years, most significantly in the role of lead singer. The original vocalist, Ryszard Riedel who died in 1994, is a cult figure in the Polish music scene. In fact, his role has been compared to that of Jim Morrison. He has since been replaced several times, with the current front man being Maciej Balcar. The performance, an acoustic interpretation of their classics, will begin at 8pm.
