Exhibition: Podobne lecz podobnym

Artists Bogna Burska and Anna Orlikowska are exhibiting together this month at the Studio BWA in Wroclaw's impressive BWA contemporary art centre. Burska's contribution includes a photographic group of frames from her films, displaying a series of bloody and murderous situations (though decidedly human-free). A closer look at blood shows its microscopic beauty, as Burska shows close-ups of crystallized blood on glass. Anna Orlikowska presents her film Gatunek synantropijny, screened with her short yet thought-provoking comments as subtitles. Orlikowska's minimal and architectural sculptures are on display as well.
