Festival of Contemporary Opera

Tue 16th
Sep

Opera doesn't have to be all Don Giovanni and Tosca, as this festival has set out to prove. From the 16th to the 21st September, culture fanatics will be urged to steer their monocles to a series of more modern operatic spectacles, courtesy of Poland's greats. The inaugural production will be Antigone by Zbigniew Rudzinski, whilst Hagith and King Roger composed by the legendary Karol Szymanowski will also be performed.
