In July and August the National Musuem in Wroclaw has all sorts of programmes and fun activities prepared for young ones. For the two months, every Wednesday and Friday at noon, various games and lectures are held at the Museum. The first one of these events is "Co straszy w muzeum?" (which translates as "What scares us in a museum"). It's a game involving dragons, scary masks, modern monsters and others. The aim of this game is to teach children, as well as engage them in a discussion, about how to scare an audience and not leave them indifferent. Another one of these interesting noon seminars is called "Searching for the secrets of the museum". The rules of the game is for children to be detectives in various galleries of the museum, and to search for the above mentioned secrets. These educational two months' aim is for children to learn through fun. If you have Polish-speaking kids then don't hesitate to bring them along!
