Time to send some postcards to those folks back home living vicariously through your adventures? Brought too much stuff and you need to shed some pounds from your pack?
The Tallinn Central Post Office is located in the centre (go figure), at Narva maantee 1, and is open Monday to Friday 7:30 - 20:00, Saturday 9:00 - 18:00, and Sunday 9:00 - 15:00. Someone will certainly speak English, so it shouldn't be as intimidating as some of your other postal experiences abroad. Internet access is available upstairs (though pricier than you'll pay elsewhere). More info about the post's super-speedy services (I'm serious) is available at the official site.
The Toompea Post Office is also located in the Old Town, at Lossi plats 4, and is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00.
Stamps can actually be purchased at any kiosk, so you may not need to visit the post office at all if you're just mailing a letter. Drop your mail off in any of the small orange boxes affixed to the sides of buildings around town. If you've got a couple extra stamps, I'd ask you to send us here at Tallinn Life a postcard, but that would involve revealing our secret whereabouts and then the obligatory seppuku that would follow for dishonoring the organization. Still, you can warm our hearts by contacting us quite easily through this electronic link. [What are you doing using snail mail anyway?]
