Editor's review

Located in a lovely 17th century storehouse in Tallinn's Old Town, the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design is an engaging foray into the well-regarded world of contemporary Estonian design. The vast collection of over 13,000 works includes works of textile art, ceramics, porcelain, leather, glass, jewellery, metalwork, furniture and product design. A rare collection of photographs, negatives and slides, as well as a specialist library and enormous archive is also housed here for those of you interested in every location, situation and conversation in Estonia where art has ever been applied.
