One of Minsk's many stadiums, Dynamo is the home ground of the city's football team FC Dinamo Minsk (along with Dinamo-Yuni stadium). Built in 1934 and rebuilt after the war in 1954, Dynamo holds over 41 000 people and was even one of the venues during the 1980 Summer Olympics hosted by the Soviet Union. Today, all sorts of sporting events take place here, and tickets are typically beyond cheap (under 5 euro). Most days the stadium also hosts a market selling anything from bicycles to clothes - though we're not talking high fashion here.
