Average place but nice business lunch.
place is great outside, inside sucks if you odnt smoke, theyput you in the =back in a small room, if u smoke u get in a big smoky room

Great place!!! A little more pricey than other pubs but that does not take away from Great beer, awesome food and great servers. Definitely a must in Kiev!
...I don't know first hand but there was a review on trip advisor on 4 May 2010. I ate here twice, 2000 and 2004, and it was great. And then after that bought the DVD of the namesake movie - it was cool to finally see what the decor was all about.
came across this place on our first night in Kiev, being pretty clueless about the traditional fayre the waitress was very helpful with recommending us, now I'm definitely converted!

was there in Feb 09 really nice place good food excellent service very polite and with us speaking no Ukrainian was great all in all 1/3 of the price of a trendy US diner just round the corner. Will be going back when next in Kiev
Pervak must be the best restaurant in Kiev - and probably Ukraine. Great dishes, smiley waitresses (rare in Kiev!) and fantastic building. look it up
loved this place. really cool waiters gave us nightlife tips, calm atmosphere, great beer and food. Shato comes highly recommended by moi
fantastic sushi restaurant. I wasn't expecting that in Kiev! i always drop into Yakitoria when in Kiev
