Reviews of Pubs in Kiev
Great place to hang out and watch football.
I used to go this place when I was 18-21. I love this place. Great atmosphere and lovely music on weekends. When I'm gonna come to city of my birth (kiev) I will visit this place
Just been back to Kiev. Staff happy and friendly. Always good live music on a Friday and Saturday. Food nice. A home away from home for those looking to meet expats. Been going there over 12 years when I am in Kiev. Love the place.
Quite expensive compared with other local pubs, but overall OK.
Great food, prices not too bad for a city centre, Staff very sweet and helpful. Only downside was the soccer - Man U won :(
Had lunch on sunday, food wonderful, the girl who served me was very sweet and hardworking. Sadly she was alone and overworked. Seating dreadful, wifi not working and no volume for match
Great place to be. Especially the staff is superb. I like to come here several times a year
Feb 2012 - had a fairly good meal with good service. The hostess was very rude. She did not speak english and had an attitude. Cannot honestly recommend. Will not go back.

So happy that owners gone, he made our lives hell in there for a year and even tried to pin a punch up on us in th08 champ lge final chels v man u..... we wernt even in the country! dont buy cider uin here.... its imported and cost 7 pound. They want u to rack up a tap and let you assume all drinks are cheap. Does anyone know if Paleena still works there?
JUST AS EXPENSIVE AS LONDON IN HERE, GO TO ANY OTHER PUB IN THE CITY..... YOUR IN THE EASTERN BLOC FOR GODS SAKE. DONT PAY THERE CRAZY PRICES.
o brien is a rip off there for man city game 4 pound a beer mcfc
Had a good time here. Don't care who it is owned by - seemed like a proper Irish bar to me!
The supposed irishman you refer to,left over ayear ago and its Always been Owned by Ukrainian-Russians,just like Every supposed Irish bar in Kyiv.
Good times, lads. Cheers
had a crackin time at Obrien's in Kiev. Awesome night, great people. Drank plenty of the black stuff
A wonderfully warm atmosphere- the best fish and chips I have ever tasted- the service may be slow- but it ALWAYS is in the Ukraine. The live music was really enjoyable and the girls were very friendly- maybe a bit too friendly- I will certainly go back to this pub the next time Everton play in the Ukraine.
Great craic here. O'briens is a cut above the average irish bar with decent food and crowd, sports screens and even the odd bit of local totty... sorry to my fellow countrymen but the Ukrainian girls sure beat the Irish lasses! Shame their English isn't so hot
thought the Golden gate was really nice. Prices are the same that you would pay in England, so no complaints. Service was slow but food was good when it arrived.
