No bookings, not a lot of waiting, just a menu crammed with dishes from Vietnam and a man who knows how to make them.

So, welcome to Monsieur Vuong.

Fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, and a menu that changes from one end of the week to the next might smack of expense and pretentiousness. Not here, though. It's the kind of place where you can drop in famished from a day's sightseeing and leave pleasantly surprised. It's fine for short stops too, offering a substantive drinks menu.
