A touch more expensive than some competitors, CSA nevertheless offers cocktails worth paying out a little extra for - as does the experience of watching real master mixers at work.
The laid-back, minimalist interior shares nothing with the building's former use, as Berlin headquarters of the Czech national airline - which is where the bar got its name.
The prices mean that the crowd at CSA is inevitably a little older than the those who favour the clubbing scene. They are the professional 30-somethings and business folk in Berlin to close that big deal, and this shows in smart casual dress.
Bright and comfortable, CSA is somewhere to splash out a little in the knowledge that you are getting just the quality and luxury that you are paying for.
