This one has a reputation as a venue where tourists and locals can mingle, dance and form very short but extremely meaningful relationships.
Tom's Bar's motto is 'For successful cruising', and there's no hiding the fact that the venue lives up to this in every way possible. But it's not all about sex, as the music and drinks promotions ensure that Tom's pulls a decent-sized crowd most nights. They have a smoking lounge too, for those hard-bitten tobacco fiends seeking to escape the widening public smoking ban.
The bar is open daily from 10am to 6am, attracting different kinds of clients depending on the time of day or night.
It's been policy at Tom's to reinvent itself to meet the demands of gay partygoers over the past 25 years. And always, what happens in the backrooms here, stays in the backrooms.
