When a couple of musicians get together with an actor to open a club in one of Europe's hippest capitals, the result is likely to be something rather special.
Such is the case with B-Flat, which was opened in 1995 by Jannis and Thannasis Zotos and Andre Hennicke. They hired architect Claudius Pratsch to design a venue that positively sings acoustics, and it's been home to live music almost every night since then.
The venue's official name is the B-Flat Acoustic Music and Jazz Club, but don't let that put you off if that's not usually your bag. There is variety enough to please most guests, and the varied programme pulls together all that's best of Berlin's modern music scene.
