Midnight Sun – Concert experience in Berlin

Wed 21st

Midsummer in Berlin

Kristjan Järvi and the Baltic Sea Philharmonic always thrill audiences at the Berlin Philharmonie with their rousing concerts. Now they are back with ‘Midnight Sun’, a magical musical programme that celebrates the natural spectacle of the midnight sun and the wonders of the far north. With Stravinsky's fairytale-like Firebird framed by modern and contemporary works from Estonia, the music of 'Midnight Sun' creates a fantastic and mystical atmosphere. And for the entire programme, the orchestra puts aside the music stands and plays completely from memory – a unique concert experience!
