For 28 years Berlin has hosted the Qatar Total German Open. This event has the highest tournament ranking and is amongst the most important ones. Every year tennis stars come to Berlin to fight for points in the ranking and the price money, this year's is actually 1,3 million US$. Amelie Mauresmo and Martina Hingis have registered so that already two Top10 players are on board. Both have been in Berlin repeated times and are favourites of the audience. This year's Qatar Total German Open promises to be a highlight of the tennis season.
