Lione grew up in a suburb of Paris (France) where she developed her music style and songwriting. She has recently relocated to Berlin to soak up the sounds and vibes of the city and focus on composing new songs for

her first EP.

On her trail she met Alexina Hawkins, a classical and modern violist from Australia and started to “cook“ music together, fusing ambient sounds with Folk, Pop and Classical influences.

Lione's new single, is the result of this magical collaboration and a foretaste of her next EP.

Ooi is a musical chameleon: initially trained as a classical violist, her diversity in style has lead her to work with professional orchestras, string quartets, bands, electronic artists and visual artists.

Being such a versatile performer has given her the opportunity to collaborate with international artists such as Christina Vantzou (USA), Phia (Australia), Amanda Palmer (USA) and the Ethel String Quartet (USA).

Ooi is fascinated by moving image and she is currently developing new music performance experiences accompanied by projections, archival videos and live vj-ing.

Born and raised in Australia, Ooi currently resides in Berlin with her cat Tofu. She regularly curates intimate site specific concerts where she performs alongside artists from other disciplines and backgrounds.

She is also the other half of duo One for Ghost.
