Shato
Editor's review
A microbrewery with a decent food menu, Shato might be labelled a gastro-pub in some countries (although it's unlikely that anyone in the Ukraine would use such a term). As with most gastro-pubs you can forget about a raucous den of inebriated party-animals, but if you enjoy sipping a decent brew amongst polo-necked thirty-somethings then Shato is the place for you. Choose between a wide range of dark and light ales, either at the small bar downstairs or on the semi-circular couches upstairs where MTV plays unobstrusively in the background. Even if you're not bursting pop into the toilets to check out the funky, conical-shaped sinks.
