King's Day in Eindhoven

This is the second edition of King’s Day, since Willem-Alexander was crowned King of the Netherlands. The Dutch national holiday is now celebrated on the birthday of the King, April 27th. The night before the actual King’s day you can already enjoy a lot of parties throughout the city centre! During King’s Day there is so much to do and so much to see for all ages! Every available spot in Eindhoven will have live music - from a guy with his guitar, playing to a small crowd to a massive stage with a popular DJ - every square will have its own unique vibe. If you would like to take things a little slower, you should visit the flea market with your children - people from all over the area set up tables or lay down their blankets to display used goods for sale. The one rule of the day: wear orange. The more and brighter, the better! The locals will love you for sharing their national pride!
