Okay, so Alexa has 175 shops, including some of the biggest outlets of several European high street chains. And yes, you can eat there, go to the gym, put the kids on a playground or play ten pin bowling.
But the real reason to visit this huge pink box is that it is also home to LOXX, the world's largest model railway.
What does this entail? for a start, you need at least 2,500 square metres of scenery, representing Berlin. then add three miles of track, 400 trains, 10,000 other vehicles, and 50,000 miniature inhabitants. You're going to need almost 20,000 lights too, as night in LOXX world falls 72 times a day.
