Editor's review

If your walks take you to the picturesque village of Chocholow, it's worth dropping into No. 75. It tells the story of a swashbucking yet ultimately tragic incident in the village's history, when the inhabitants rose up against the occupying Austrians (1846). The exhibits are woven into a traditional styled arrangement of a Highland cottage, so it maintains the atmosphere of classic Podhale dwelling. Most of the houses here seem like something out of Hansel and Gretel and its worth pottering around behind the main street.
