Don't be put off by the first glance you get of Alaus Namai. It's not really the locals only place that it might appear - and in fact is very popular amongst visitors to Vilnius looking to sample some real Lithuanian beers. There's certainly plenty of choice, with beer on offer from many of the country's smaller breweries, often made using traditional techniques.
Alaus Namai also offers food - traditional Lithuanian fare to go with the beer, and it's very easy to fill up given the size of the portions.
With a riverside location, and different things going on each day, it's a great spot to while away an evening.
