You might not have heard of her yet, but if dance is your thing, you will at some point come across the name Anelika Cholina.
She is the choreographer who founded the AC in Vilnius, with the aim of opening up the creative process to talent from all walks of life.
The theatre's productions have toured to critical acclaim internationally, and have been recognised is both the professional and entertainment press of many nations.
At its heart, AC has a core troupe of around 20 performers, who are students of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and ballet artists from the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Others win places in shows according to requirements, so competition - and therefore standards - are very high.
