Grunwald 1410

July 14th saw the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald, one of the titanic clashes of the medieval era, when a Polish-Lithuanian army laid waste to the Teutonic Knights. There will be commemorative events across Poland, and you can see evocations of the battle in miniature at the Wielkopolska War Museum on the square.
