Warsaw's Hotel Europejski, which opened in 1857, was once amongst the most elegant hotels in Europe. Visitors could purchase paintings there - created in the on-site workshop - by some of the most talented artists working in the then divided Poland. This exhibition presents pieces painted in that studio, together with copies of works lost in the war. Some of Poland's finest artists are represented, including Jozef Chelmonski, Adam Chmielowski and Stanislaw Witkiewicz.
