Exhibition: "Our Place - The World's Heritage"

Fri 20th
Jul

Poznan's Stary Browar will host the first exhibition of photographs from the collection "UNESCO Our Place - The World's Heritage". The collection, sponsored by Panasonic Poland and the UN's cultural organization UNESCO, aims to acquaint a wide audience with both cultural and natural UNESCO World Heritage sites through a series of photographs of the sites. The photographs were taken by an international team of photographers, including Polish artist Wojtek Wieteska. According to the World Heritage Committee, the sites inscribed on the World Heritage list are the shared legacy of all of humanity and have outstanding universal value. Through these photographs, the committee hopes to share that value and raise awareness of the importance of the conservation of these remarkable places. The exhibition will be travelling through Poland, making a stop in Poznan, Wroclaw, Cracow, Torun, and have already been shown in Warsaw and Gdansk.
