Constitution Day

Thu 3rd
May

Make sure you’ve got enough milk and beer in the fridge, as Poland practically shuts down for national public holidays. That’s not to say that you won’t be able to find a friendly bar to help with life’s necessities, but lots of places will be closed.

Constitution Day is the celebration of freedom and equality. For on this date in 1791 the country became the first in Europe to adopt what could be termed a modern constitution.
