Miami Weather

What's the weather in Miami like?

There is a reason snowbirds flock to Miami in the winter months. South Florida is known for its warm, albeit moody weather. The summer months (June through August) are slightly hotter than the rest of the year, but the average lows barely hit the 50s (F). June 1 through November 30 is hurricane season, so visitors and locals alike must prepare for the possibility of unexpected storms. Whether or not a hurricane hits, rainfall is inevitable, averaging 58.6 inches from mid-May through early October. Bring your sunscreen and bring your umbrella.
