Slightly off the beaten path, Broken Shaker is a little James Beard Award-nominated gem inside Freehand Miami, a trendy hostel located in a 1930s Art Deco building, formerly the Indian Creek Hotel. The bar holds its own, named one of the best bars by Playboy magazine and lauded by others. Enjoy artisanal cocktails with herbs and spices from the on-site garden blended with exotic ingredients. Groups: consider the Daily Punch for $70, which serves 4-8 drinkers; there’s plenty of nibble on, too.
