Marvin Dee (singer-songwriter + band)

Every Sunday POPEI presents free live music from talented singer-songwriters. Sunday 20th March it’s Marvin Dee’s turn. Between 15.00 and 17.00 h he will play a few sets at the POPEI-café. Marvin Dee is actually a band, not only a singer-songwriter. The band has been formed around the songs of Marvin Dee, a singer-songwriter from Capelle an den IJssel. Marvin has a really unique style, you could describe it as a complex but also accessible pop-rock music with influences of folk, jazz, blues and country, but you can also hear his theatre-experience. Marvin and his band do have a wide range of influences, but maybe the most important thing, they know how to play their complex music not only at the studio but also live, including 5 voices.
