Bauhaus, the German school for architects, artists and craftspeople at the turn of the 20th century was famous and influential. It celebrated its 90th birthday in 2009. At the time, New Yorker photographer, Gordon Watkinson, put on a visual exhibition to show how relevant the influence of Bauhaus continues to be. Alongside twelve of the most recognisable buildings from Bauhaus-school, dating pre-1933, Watkinson also exhibited contemporary buildings from young upcoming as well as those by established, renowned architects. A selection of Bauhaus furniture pieces completed the exhibition. The show has travelled all over the world, and now it's in Eindhoven showing until 22 September.

Gordon Watkinson will be in Eindhoven on 6 and 7 June to give a workshop on architectural photography. On 8 June he will give a public lecture on the opening day of the exhibition.
