Named after Romania’s most celebrated composer, the George Enescu Festival takes place in Bucharest once every two years with a series of concerts and a competition. The event includes public performance on the Bucharest City Square as well as recitals in the Palace Grand Hall, National Opera House, and more. Some highlights from this year’s festival include concerts featuring international guests such as Akiko Ebi, The Hague Philharmonic, the Austrian Baroque Company, and many many more.
