Dating back to the late 19th century, the illustrious De Bijenkorf is one of the most iconic Dutch shopping experiences. The Dam Square flagship location is a full five floors of cosmetics, electronics, jewellery, and fashion, housed in an imposing 1915 building which is now considered a national monument. In terms of fashion, De Bijenkorf stocks many well-known international brands such as Calvin Klein, French Connection, and Tommy Hilfiger as well as hip Dutch labels such as Supertrash. But De Bijenkorf is not just an upscale department store - youll also find a restaurant, cafe, and even a hairdresser inside.
