Opening Season for Eindhoven Museum

Sun 31st
Mar

Over the 2013 Easter weekend is the opening season for the Eindhoven Museum.  During the day you will be able to interact with many historical figures like William of Orange, American soldiers who helped liberate the Netherlands during World War II, Marcus of Eindhoven and many others! Come talk and interact with these historical people and see just what it was like to live during their time periods. One exciting event of the day is deciding who is the most important figure for Eindhoven and what contributions they made to the city. Become a juror and help your fellow Eindhoven residents decide who will be the icon of this wonderful city. Several workshops will be happening at the museum as well. You can watch how Vikings from the Middle Ages fought in battle, learn to make calligraphy in the Medieval fashion and have your face painted like the Romans! Come out and enjoy the spring air and history that makes Eindhoven so fun and exciting place to live.
