Acoustic trio Humans Screaming Like Goats

Every Sunday POPEI presents free live music from talented singer-songwriters. Sunday 27th of August acoustic threesome Humans Screaming Like Goats (pop/rock/blues) will sing in an intimate setting at the café a few songs between 15.00 and 17.00 h. With good weather, the performance will be given at the terrace of POPEI. Entrance: free.

The name Humans Screaming Like Goats was made up after an evening which can be best described as a deadly combination of drinking special beers and watching strange YouTube videos on goats screaming like humans (if you have never seen one, go on, you will be amazed).

Sander Herwijnen (guitar) and Robert Verwaijen (guitar, vocals) live in Helmond. Despite their roots, which lie in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, respectively, they still manage to get on surprisingly well. Both have gained some stage experience before HSLG: Robert played in a rock band called Egoloco and Sander used to play amongst local metal heroes Cold Compassion. Their current style is acoustic pop, rock and blues.

Mid 2016, although not a beautiful female bass player as originally planned, Ad foolen and his four stringed tool were welcomed to give the HSLG songs an additional boost. Ad lives in Son and is also known for hitting stages as a drummer with his band Funtain.
