Tesco
Editor's review
While many of Europe's finest cities boast a market square, cathedral or other unique landmark at their epicentre, Bratislava is marked by the ginormous Tesco hypermarket - read into that what you will! Here you'll find almost everything imaginable from clothing to food, cosmetics, souvenirs, toys, alcohol, sporting goods, photo booths, pizzerias, internet cafes, you name it - it's there and it's dirt cheap. Whether you like it or not, you'll find yourself in this store for some reason or another, be it to buy a 2 litre bottle of beer for Ä.20 or to get new passport photos after your documents went mysteriously missing after a night in Bratislava's bars.

Hi, maybe you cannot see properly, but the biggest dominant of Bratislava is the castle above the river Danube and a lot of different historical churches, buildings and bridges. If you visited only TESCO in the centre of the city, you didn,t know Bratislava.

My girlfriend's bag got stolen while we were at the internet cafe here. The ensuing ordeal was as nightmarish as you can possibly imagine. Be really careful with your things in Bratislava--even in Tesco. If something does happen, you'll be fucked for days. DAYS!
