Zimbabwe Weather

What's the weather in Zimbabwe like?

It would be hard to find a country with more favourable weather than Zimbabwe, and those of us that are lucky enough to live here, are the envy (weather-wise at least) of our friends overseas, particularly in the Northern Hemisphere. Zimbabwe's location below the Tropic of Capricorn, away from the vagaries of the coasts, and also at altitude, means a preponderance of warm, dry and stable air over the country. There are very distinct seasons, but overall these are quite predictable and all pleasant in their own ways.

First things first. being in the Southern Hemisphere means that the seasons are the reverse of those in the north. So May June and July are Winter in Zimbabwe, and November, December and January (when Europe is covered in snow) brings summer, and the hottest months of the year.
