London has more than its share of luxury department stores, but Selfridges is the freshest and edgiest of them all. As expected, there is a top-notch food hall and a fantastic selection of home furnishings, but it’s in the world of fashion that Selfridges shines brightest. Along with collections from established designers like Marc Jacobs and Vivienne Westwood, Selfridges prides itself on stocking some of the most exciting up-and-coming names in the fashion world. Plus, it’s not all blow-the-bank selections - there are several more affordable, mid-range collections available as well.
