Stretching along Camden High Street and Chalk Farm Road, Camden Market is essentially a collection of neighbouring markets and shops in Camden Town. This offbeat neighbourhood has been a favourite stomping ground counterculture youth from punks to ravers, and cheap, quirky wares on sale in the markets stalls are aimed directly at their intended audiences. All manner of vintage, young designer, and knock-off garments can be found here, from logo tees to Doc Martens. But Camden is also a great choice for antique, record, and jewellery shopping, as well as filling up on all sorts of cheap street food. The markets get incredibly busy on Saturdays, so keep in mind that at peak hours the Camden Town tube station is exit-only.
